Yoga, Run and Swim Day Retreat

Are you looking for a fun packed day of movement?

Well why not come and join us on the Saturday 24th August 2024, from 10am - 5pm, £95 per person. Myself and the wonderful Kathryn a local running and swimming coach are hosting a retreat day at Ropeworks Active in Llanberis.

What’s involved in this day:

  • Welcome drinks

  • Morning yoga flow to warm up the body, focused on running activation.

  • A fun social run (no more than 10km at a very calm pace, we want to have a natter)

  • A gentle post run stretch.

  • A wonderful lunch made by a local chef.

  • A wild swim (wetsuits available if required)

  • A relaxation yoga flow

  • Followed by a warm drink and homemade cakes.

Are you ready to move freely and enjoy some music. I am excited to announce after a great trial at the studio, the music theme night once a month will now be held in Bluesky. This is an hour Vinyasa class along to a different genre of music each month.

Yoga and Breadmaking day

Come and immerse yourself in self-care, relaxation and learning. This day will allow us to learn from a chef with over 20 years of experience and he will get us mastering our breadmaking skills.

Whilst we are waiting for our wonderful bread to come alive we will practice yoga, meditation and enjoy some mindful walks around Moel Y Ci.

Lunch, drinks and snacks will all be provided, along with all the yoga equipment.

This is when we use our yoga mat as the dance floor. Each month there will be a different theme of music genre, This month is 80s and 90s pop, feel free to have fun and dress up. Each session is an hour long, 6pm-7pm and 7pm-8pm.

Whats involved?

I don’t know about you but by this time in December I am ready to do some movement, but I also still like being cosy and chilled. so why not come and join me in the cosy studio for a restorative yoga flow in Pyjamas?

It could not get any more relaxing, what we all need in the festive season.

And of course if you would prefer to wear your yoga clothes thats good too.

Standing Balance and Binds

The first Masterclass of the Autumn. It’s about standing Balances and Binds.

What is a bind? this is when one part of the body grabs and pulls against another. Allow you to use strength to open and release other muscles. Allowing you to get deeper into poses.

What are standing balances? this is any pose that involves a balance element, whether that is a tree pose or a half moon.

Don’t worry if you are new to all this, it is suitable for all levels beginners to advanced, and catered to the needs of the student.

What’s involved:

  • Working on balance strength and the use of focus points.

  • How to use props to help your practice and allow you to gain more form poses.

  • Build confidence and learn more about these poses,

  • Yoga flow and relaxation

  • learning to engage your body and alignment to help with these poses
