The balance and binds

The third Masterclass of the summer Series. It’s about standing Balances and Binds.

What is a bind? this is when one part of the body grabs and pulls against another. Allow you to use strength to open and release other muscles. Allowing you to get deeper into poses.

What are standing balances? this is any pose that involves a balance element, whether that is a tree pose or a half moon.

Don’t worry if you are new to all this, it is suitable for all levels beginners to advanced, and catered to the needs of the student.

What’s involved:

  • Working on balance strength and the use of focus points.

  • How to use props to help your practice and allow you to gain more form poses.

  • Build confidence and learn more about these poses,

  • Yoga flow and relaxation

  • learning to engage your body and alignment to help with these poses

  • Gaining drills and tools to be able to practice these in your own time.

What are these good for:

  • they help build confidence

  • Gain strength in your core, ankle and legs

  • Balance is an element that we need to train more as we get older.

  • Good for deeper stretches.

  • Makes us feel balanced internally and externally.
